South Dakota Mines

Paul Gnirk (Buidler) has been giving back to the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology far longer than 1999, when he was elected president of the Alumni Association. Gnirk’s ?ve decades of service to SD Mines includes teaching engineering students as a professor, directing the university’s ?rst computer center, hiring graduates, coordinating reunions and serving alumni tirelessly for years. He has also been a generous donator to the Hardrock Club, providing meals for the Hardrocker Sports Banquet for many years as well as contributing to the Hall of Fame Banquet.
