Maria Fossum-Cadwallader was the point guard and floor general for the first Lady Hardrocker basketball team to qualify for the NAIA National tournament during the 1992-1993 season. She was the first of high quality point guards that became of staple of Lady Hardrocker teams during the next 15 years. Although she fell just shy of 1,000 career points, she is 3^rd in all time assists with 443, 16^th in steals (165) and 18^th in 3-pointers with (44) and was named the SDIC Conference MVP in 1995. She was a hard working player that excelled both offensively and defensively and the leader of that first national tournament team.
