1983-84 Men’s Basketball Team finished the season with a 19-9 overall record and 11-3 mark in SDIC play. That season, the Hardrockers were crowned conference champs, won the SDIC Holiday Tournament, had the SDIC’s MVP in Jim Benjamin --- who also earned NAIA All-District XII honors --- while Jeff Pfalzgraf and Mike Grabham earned All-SDIC selections. The 1983-84 team has four members that are on the SD Mines all-time scoring list which includes: 2. Jim Benjamin (2,348); 5. Jeff Pfalzgraf (1,721); 7. Dave Becker (1,678); 12. Steve Wilcox (1,340).
