Kerri (Meyer) Crosby was one of the first stars on SD Mines early women's basketball teams. She was a four-year letter winner and an SDIC All-Conference selection in 1979, 1980, and 1981. She was a key member of the Hardrockers SDIC Championship teams in 1979 and 1980, and the AIAW State Championship team of 1980. At the time of her induction, she was sixth on the Lady Hardrocker all-time scoring list with 1,464 points. Kerri was also a fine player on the Lady Hardrocker volleyball team. Along with her sister Terri, Crosby made an immediate impact on the Lady Hardrocker program that is still remembered today.
