RAPID CITY, S.D. – The South Dakota Mines men's soccer team has one road game and their regular season home finale this week as they look to claim points to get back into the playoff mix.
Currently in eighth, needing to move into sixth, the Hardrockers take on Regis on the road on Friday before coming back home to take on Colorado Christian on Sunday.

ONE AWAY
Hayden Jaramillo is one assist shy of sitting solo atop the all-time career leaderboard at South Dakota Mines with 10. Currently, he sits at nine with Andreas Skau. Jaramillo's role has shifted a bit into more of an attacker as he is leading the team in shots and shot-on-goal percentage (min. 4 shots).
PLAYOFF POSITION
Six teams earn spots in the RMAC playoffs and the Hardrockers are sitting with five points and in the eight slot. Points in these two games are necessary if the team wants a chance at the RMAC Playoffs.
FREITAS IN GOAL
In his third year as the primary goalkeeper, Freitas recorded a shutout earlier this season and is eighth in the RMAC with 3.23 saves per game.
SCOUTING REGIS
Regis has had a strong start to the season, sitting in first in the RMAC as of now with an unblemished 5-0-1 RMAC record to go along with an overall record of 6-2-6.
The Rangers rely on their high-scoring offense as they are fourth in the RMAC, averaging 1.93 goals per game, while allowing a goal per game on the defensive end which is eight in the 10-team league.
Liam Corr and Elias Taubo are dangerous pieces as they are first and fourth in the conferece, averaging 1.36 and 1.21 shots on goal per game.
That pair along with Ignacio Bellina are in the top 10 in the conference in goals with six and five on the season.
Taubo and Corr also have seven and six assists this season.
SCOUTING COLORADO CHRISTIAN
Colorado Christian is level with South Dakota Mines with a 1-3-2 RMAC record, while they are 3-4-7 overall.
This is a critical game for both teams, with both team needing the win to help move into a playoff spot.
Offensively, Colorado Christian averages 1.21 goals per game, but allow 1.36.
Lucas Peruzo, Lucca Casci and Tiago Gomes have four, three and three goals scored, respectively.
Adrian Diez is one of their top playmakers, as he has three assists on the season.
Jaillon Gillespie has been their primary goalkeeper and allows 1.33 goals per game.
LOOKING AHEAD
The Hardrockers finish the regular season with UCCS and CSU Pueblo on the road on Nov. 1 and Nov. 3.
