RAPID CITY, S.D. – South Dakota Mines soccer is ready for a neutral site game against Mount Marty on Sept. 4 at 3 p.m. CT in Pierre.

Series History

Mount Marty and South Dakota Mines have never faced in the regular season. The Hardrockers and Lancers played an exhibition game last season, winning 3-0 on Aug. 31 in Mitchell.

About the Lancers

Mount Marty comes into this game with an 0-1 overall record after their first weekend. After taking down Bethany Lutheran 5-1 in an exhibition, they fell at York 5-3. Last season, Mount Marty went 4-7-4, with a 1-5-4 record in the GPAC.

In their lone game against York, Rylan Eide, James Starkey and Evan Aveyard all scored for the Lancers. Goalkeeper Esteban Gomez made four saves for the Lancers.

About the Hardrockers

Through two contests, South Dakota Mines is 1-0-1. They defeated Morningside 3-0 last Saturday and drew Jamestown 1-1 on Monday. The Rockers are coming off a historic 2025 season, putting up a record of 7-7-3, the most wins in a season in program history.

Freshman Lucas Miranda collected three goals over the weekend for the Hardrockers. Nickolas North and Zach Peroff both have a goal, while Shon West has two assists so far. Parker Yocom also has an assist through two games.
