COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. --- On Wednesday afternoon, the RMAC selected and announced its' All-Conference selections for women's basketball.

Ryan Weiss was selected as Second Team All-Conference.

Weiss played a big part in the women's basketball team's success over the last couple of weeks as the team surged down the stretch, winning 7 of their last 10 and 5-in-a-row.

Weiss finished the season with averages of 13.5 points per game (9th RMAC) and 5.7 rebounds per game, in addition to being one of the best shooters in the RMAC, shooting 35.3% from three-point range (5th RMAC), and making 65 on the year to lead the conference.

In the last week of the regular season, she was named the RMAC Offensive Player of the Week for her play in the last two games of the season. This is the third time in Weiss' career that she has been named All-Conference.

Weiss caps off a record-setting career at South Dakota Mines in which she finished 12th on the all-time scoring list with 1,364 points and broke the record for most 3-pointers made, finishing with 276.

"There isn't enough praise to describe what Ryan has meant to our program throughout her career," said Jacobson. "A player like Ryan doesn't come along very often and to couple that with how great of a person she is, is truly something remarkable. We are very proud of Ryan and all that she has accomplished in her Hardrocker uniform. Her career has been interrupted numerous times with injuries but she has never let that deter her. This past season is a testament to how tough Ryan is as well as showcased her work ethic and competitiveness to get back on the floor. She gives 110% in everything she does whether it's a workout, practice, or game and it's nice to see her recognized for her dedication to the sport by the coaches in the RMAC."
