2020-21 (Junior): Started 17 games averaging 30.4 minutes per game before her season was ended…Led team in scoring with 292 points (17.2pg) while shooting 47.5%from the field (103 of 217)…Knocked down 55 of 127 3-pointers (43.3%)…Pulled down 106 rebounds (6.2pg) and added 36 steals, 17 assists, and 3 blocks…Made 31 of 34 free throws (91.2%)…Season-best performance of 31 points in 34 minutes with 13 rebounds, 5 steals, and 1 assist at MSU Denver (12/17).
2019-20 (Redshirt Sophomore): Started in 26 games averaging 31.3 minutes per game…Led the team in scoring with 439 points (16.9pg) while shooting 46.3 percent from the field (139 of 300)…Knocked down 98 of 204 3-pointers (48%)…Pulled down 113 rebounds (4.3pg) and added 42 assists, 23 steals, and 5 blocks…Made 63-69 free throws (91%)…Season-best performance of 33 points in 29 minutes (9 of 14 on 3-pointers) with 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 1 steal at NM Highlands (1/25).
2018-19 (Sophomore): Redshirted.
2017-18 (Freshman): Moved into the starting lineup for the 8th game and stayed there for the final 22 games of the season…Finished the season with 250 points (8.9pg), 114 rebounds (4.1pg), 34 assists (2.0), and 25 steals (1.8)...Shot 46.8 percent from distance (51 of 109)...Season-best performance of 17 points (5 of 6 on 3-pointers) with 6 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 steal came at Western State (1/26).
High School: Team Captain & MVP, All-Conference, All-Region, All-District, All-State, Academic All-State, Governor’s Scholar, 3rd AHS player to score over 1,000 points and grab over 500 rebounds, school record holder of most career 3-pointers and highest season FT %.
Personal: Daughter of Craig & Sue Weiss…Has two brothers (Brett & Walker)…Also runs on the South Dakota Mines track team...Her hobbies outside of basketball are running, reading, and singing karaoke…Earned her B.S. in
Industrial Engineering and is working on her M.S. in Engineering Management…Ry’s favorite quote is “Spread love everywhere you go, let no one ever come to you without leaving happier."
