Weiss Caps Career with Award

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. --- On Monday afternoon, the RMAC selected and announced its' player of the week selections for women's basketball
 
Ryan Weiss was selected by the schools around the league as the honoree for RMAC Offensive Player of the Week.
 
Weiss has had a great pair of games, leading the Hardrockers to a pair of wins this week. On Thursday, Weiss scored 20 points in the first half on her way to a 24-point outing, shooting 8-14 and 6-9 from three, adding 6 rebounds and 2 steals. Weiss ended her career with a bang on Saturday, recording a double-double by setting a career-high with 14 rebounds along with scoring 14 points and adding 4 steals.
 
On the season Weiss averaged 13.5 points per game to finish in 9th in the conference, along with finishing with the most 3-pointers made and the 4th highest 3-point percentage in the RMAC. For her career, Weiss set the South Dakota Mines record for most 3-pointers made, hitting 276 for her career. Weiss also finished her time at South Dakota Mines in 12th on the all-time scoring list with 1,364 points.
