FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW
1. South Dakota Mines had played well of late but was shorthanded last week with several players and its' head coach out they were defeated at home by Regis and Colorado Mines.
2. South Dakota Mines continues to shoot the three-ball well, now sitting in 6th in the RMAC, hitting 31.6% of their shots from distance.
3. Free throw percentage is another strength, as the Hardrockers hit 72.3% from the charity stripe to sit in 3rd in the RMAC.
4. The Hardrockers have also done a good job in protecting the rim as they block 3.06 shots per game.
5. Against the #13 ranked Colorado Mines, the Hardrockers were competitive in the first half, trailing by 3 going into the locker rooms before running out of gas. In the game, the Hardrockers got double-digit performances from
