RAPID CITY, S.D. --- After an 0-2 start, the South Dakota Mines women's basketball team plays their first game at home on Thursday followed by a road trip to Billings, to take on MSU Billings Saturday afternoon. Those games are scheduled for tip-offs of 7:00 and 2:00.

vs. Northern State
	- It has been a while since these two programs have met, with their last meeting coming in 2014.
 
	- Northern State has been victorious in three of the previous four matchups, winning the most recent matchup in Aberdeen, 68-39 (11/23/14).
 
vs. MSU Billings
	- South Dakota Mines and MSU Billings have met 8 times, with the Yellowjackets winning 6 of those previous matchups.

Gold Nuggets

Northern State
	- Northern State has stared off the season with a loss to #6 Central Missouri, followed by an 84-72 victory over Rogers State.
 
	- They have three women scoring in double-figures to start the season with a fourth averaging just under and 6 averaging over 7 points a game.
 
	- Kailee Oliverson is a double-double threat, averaging, 9.5 rebounds and 9.5 assists per game through the first two.
 
	- Laurie Rogers has made it difficult on opposing teams getting to the rim, blocking 5 shots thus far.
 
MSU Billings
	- MSU Billings has started the season hot, with 4 wins in 5 games. Their lone loss came by 6 against the #1 Lubbock Christian University.
 
	- They are led on offense by Taryn Shelley and Cariann Kunkel who average 13.4 and 11.4 points per game.
