LAS VEGAS, Nev. – Carter Aispuro, a South Dakota Mines Athletics student worker, has earned four College Sports Communicators (CSC) Creative & Digital Design Contest awards, CSC announced on Wednesday.
"I am super proud of Carter for these well-deserved awards," Assistant AD of Athletic Communications Luke Kotcher said. "CSC is the most respected organization in our profession and to be recognized is unbelievable. Carter represents our student group, Hardrocker Athletics and South Dakota Mines proudly in his everyday work and fully deserves these awards."
Carter Aispuro earned four awards in two different pieces of content at the 2026 CSC Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada.
His 2025 Hardrocker Volleyball hype video saw three different recognitions in the Hype/Pre-Game Videos category. He earned the second-best ranking in NCAA Division II, the fourth-best mark among student workers and seventh in the College Division.
The Mar. 4 edition of the Rocker Recap earned one award in the contest. Overall, Aispuro's recap earned the third-best mark among student workers in the College Division.
Aispuro's work marks the most CSC Creative & Digitial Design Contest awards the Hardrockers have seen in program history.
Overall, CSC saw 2,565 total entries in the Creative & Digital Design Contest, including 1,585 in the College Division. Nearly 90 contest reviewers judged the Creative & Digital Design Contest this past year.
