RAPID CITY, S.D. – South Dakota Mines Athletics has announced the 2026 Hall of Fame class, highlighted by one team and eight individuals who will be inducted on Oct. 17 in the Christensen Hall of Fame and livestreamed on the RMAC Network.

The 2026 Hall of Fame class is listed below.

2011 Volleyball Team:

Under the direction of Tiffany McCampbell, the 2011 Hardocker Volleyball team set numerous records, highlighted by a 27-5 overall record. During that season, South Dakota Mines went 7-1 at home and compiled an impressive 16-1 road record.

Due to South Dakota Mines transitioning from NAIA to NCAA Division II, the Hardrockers were not affiliated with a conference and were ineligible for postseason awards.

Justine Blade:

Justine Blade, a 2015 graduate in industrial engineering and engineering management, led the 2011 Volleyball team during its record-breaking season. Over her career, she totaled 1,111 kills, 426 blocks and 1,388.5 points, all of which rank first in South Dakota Mines history. Her .314 attack percentage is second in Hardrocker history, while her 437 sets played rank first. During her freshman season,

Jamie Dale:

Regarded as one of the greatest players in Hardrocker Football history, Jamie Dale made his mark at South Dakota Mines as a running back from 2008-11. Dale's 5,517 career all-purpose yards and 3,351 career rushing yards both rank first in South Dakota Mines history. His 1,057 rushing yards in 2010 made him just the fourth player in Hardrocker history to eclipse 1,000 rushing yards. In total, Dale recorded 222 career points, the second-most in program history.

Dale was also a member of the Track & Field team at South Dakota Mines, winning the DAC long jump title in 2010. His marks in the long jump, 55m and 100m still rank among the top 10 in Hardrocker history.
Following his collegiate career, Dale continued playing professionally in Germany, totaling 14,434 all-purpose yards over 14 seasons.

Bethany Holyoak graduated from South Dakota Mines in 2010 with a degree in industrial engineering. Her 106 career blocks rank second in program history behind Steph Law, another Hardrocker Hall of Fame member. Holyoak also ranks sixth all-time in rebounds and seventh in points.

She earned Second Team All-DAC honors in 2008-09 and First Team All-DAC recognition in 2009-10. During her senior season, Holyoak was named the DAC Most Valuable Senior. Holyoak was also a two-time NAIA Academic All-American and four-time DAC Scholar Athlete.

John Magbuhat:

A 1982 graduate with a degree in electrical engineering, John Magbuhat is a member of both the 1,000-point club and 500-assist club. His 602 career assists stood as the program record until fellow Hall of Fame member Mitch Slusarski surpassed the mark in 1994.
