COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Savea Mansfield has been named the RMAC Offensive Player of the Week after averaging 30 points over the weekend.
Savea Mansfield earned her first career RMAC Offensive Player of the Week award following a weekend where she averaged 30 points per game.
At MSU Denver on Thursday, Mansfield totaled 28 points, eight rebounds, two assists and two steals. She shot 10-for-15 from the field, 2-for-2 from three-point range and 6-for-6 from the free throw line. On Saturday at Colorado School of Mines, Mansfield recorded a career-high 32 points with eight rebounds, one assist, a block and one steal. The senior was 11-for-16 from the field, 1-for-2 from deep and 9-for-10 from the charity stripe.
Mansfield is averaging 19.1 points and 5.5 rebounds per game for the Hardrockers. She is 54.5% from the field, 40% from three-point range and 83.5% from the free throw line. In conference games, Mansfield is averaging 23.7 points per game, the best mark in the RMAC. She is shooting 60.8% from the field, 41.7% from deep and 91.1% from the stripe.
What's Next
Mansfield and the Hardrockers are back at home this weekend to take on Fort Lewis on Thursday at 5:30 p.m., followed by Adams State on Saturday at 1 p.m. They will go on the road next weekend to play Western Colorado and Westminster.
