Football Announces Game Dates for 2025

RAPID CITY, S.D. – On the heels of national signing day, Head football coach Charlie Flohr announced the South Dakota Mines football schedule for the 2025 season.

The Hardrocker football team heads into the season with high hopes after completing their third winning season in the last four years for the first time since the 1980s.

The schedule shapes up to be a difficult one, as usual, within the RMAC.

The schedule begins with an RMAC opponent similar to last year. The Hardrockers head to Pueblo to take on CSU Pueblo in week zero on 8/28.

Following that, the Hardrockers begin their non-conference schedule by flipping locations from last year. They will take on Michigan Tech at home on Sept. 4 before heading to Fayette to take on Upper Iowa on Sept. 13.

After the two non-conference matchups, South Dakota Mines jumps back into RMAC play with New Mexico Highlands on the road on Sept. 20, before a homecoming matchup at O'Harra Stadium against Fort Lewis to close the month on Sept. 27.

Despite containing just three games, the month of October is a bit of a gauntlet. It begins with the 140th installment of the Black Hills Brawl in Spearfish on Oct. 4, followed by home matchups with top-of-the-line RMAC foes in Colorado School of Mines and Western Colorado on Oct. 11 and Oct. 18.

Following a bye week, the Hardrockers' schedule does not lighten. It starts with a home matchup on Nov. 1 against Chadron State, followed by a road trip to Grand Junction to take on Colorado Mesa on Nov. 8, and finally, closing the season with Adams State at O'Harra Stadium on Nov. 15.

Ticket information, along with game times, will be released at a later date.
