PUEBLO, Colo. – South Dakota Mines Cross Country wrapped up the 2025 season at the NCAA South Central Regional, hosted by CSU Pueblo.
The Hardrocker men finished in 13
th place out of 24 total teams.
Joran Lamoreaux ran a 31:54.9 in the 10k, a new career best. He recorded 42
nd out of 160 total runners.
Zach Hentschel ran a 32:42.8 in the event, followed by
Tristan Enders and
Tanner Reinert.
Owen Johnson,
Evan Valencia and
Jackson Parrill all contributed to the Hardrockers 13
th place finish, their best placement since 2021.
Adams State, Colorado School of Mines and Western Colorado all finished in the top three at the regional. Nine of the top 10 teams were all RMAC programs.
On the women's side, the Hardrockers finished in 24
th overall.
Alana Howard's 23:59.9 in the 6k highlighted for South Dakota Mines.
Addison Smetana ran a 24:01.9 and
Emily Jones was right behind her with a time of 24:14.4.
Lundi Ferrier,
Kat Tvrdy,
Taylor Peterson and
Teagan Wright all ran in the NCAA Regional for the Hardrockers.
Adams State won the women's race, followed by UCCS and Colorado School of Mines. Eight of the top 10 teams were all representatives from the RMAC.
