RAPID CITY, S.D. – South Dakota Mines Cross Country will compete in the RMAC Championship on Saturday in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
After a great start to the 2025 season, Hardrocker Cross Country is set to run at the RMAC Championship on Saturday morning.
The Hardrocker men have finished in the top four of every meet this season. Most recently, they recorded second place at the Yellowjacket/Battlin' Bears Open.
Joran Lamoreaux picked up second overall out of 103 runners with his career-best 24:53.6 in the 8k.
On the women's side, South Dakota Mines started the season strong and highlighted in Billings, Montana. They placed third overall out of 14 teams.
Addison Smetana ran a career-best 24:53.6, placing ninth out of 76 runners.
Last season at the RMAC Championship, the women's team recorded ninth, while the men's team placed 10
th.
Clare Fischer won the RMAC Summit Award for the Hardrockers.
This race will take place at Monument Valley Park in Colorado Springs. The women will run at 9:30 a.m., followed by the men at 10:15 a.m. Awards for individuals and team champions will follow the men's race.
What's Next
Following the RMAC Championship, the Hardrockers will host the Bauer XC Classic on Nov. 1 at Hart Ranch. NCAA Regionals are scheduled for Nov. 8 in Pueblo, Colorado.
