RAPID CITY, S.D. – South Dakota Mines Cross Country returns to action on Friday at the Yellowjacket/Battlin' Bears Open in Billings, Montana.
Both teams last ran on Sept. 19 at the Roy Griak Invitational at the University of Minnesota. The men's team highlighted with fourth place out of 21 teams at the invite.
Joran Lamoreaux recorded fifth place with a time of 26:42.2 in the 8k.
Lundi Ferrier collected 73
rd out of 266 runners in her first 6k of her collegiate career.
The Hardrockers went to MSU Billings in 2023. At the invite, the men's team collected first place, while the women placed second.
The women's 6k is scheduled for 12 p.m., while the men's 8k is slated for 12:45 p.m. This invitational is the last one before the RMAC Championship later this month.

South Dakota Mines will go to the RMAC Championship on Oct. 25 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Before NCAA Regionals on Nov. 8, the Hardrockers will host the Bauer XC Classic on Nov. 1 at Hart Ranch.
