RAPID CITY, S.D. – The South Dakota Mines Athletic department is pleased to announce the hiring of Rob Sales as the new Wellness Center Director.

"We are excited to announce Rob as the new Wellness Center Director at South Dakota Mines", said Interim Director of Athletics Cassie Kosiba. "This position serves a crucial role on campus in promoting fitness and wellness for our students, staff and faculty and I am confident the relationships he developed during his time in the student success office the past five years will serve him well as he works to increase engagement across campus."

His first stint with South Dakota Mines came from 2013-14, before coming back in 2017 and being here since.

In addition to his time with SDM, Sales has worked in various high schools including Rapid City Stevens and Rapid City Central along with stops at Cherry Creek High School, ThunderRidge High School and Araphoe High School before making Rapid City his home.
