COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – On Wednesday morning, the RMAC selected its all-academic team for women's basketball.
 
The Hardrockers had six players receive honors.
 
Requirements for a selection to the first team are to have completed the previous semester with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above and have completed two consecutive semesters at the institution, while the honor roll has similar requirements but a 3.3 GPA.
 
Alexis Backhaus, Piper Bauer, Madelyn Heiser, Lauren Herman, Savea Mansfield and Lily Peterson were selected for the team.
 
Backhaus, Herman and Mansfield were honored in the first season with eligibility.
 
Lily Peterson and Madelyn Heiser wrapped up their careers by being selected to the team for the second and third consecutive seasons, respectively.
 
For Bauer, she is coming off her first RMAC All-Conference team selection as a second-team selection and was able to add another honor following her season.
