LARAMIE, Wyo. --- The South Dakota Mines Cross Country teams participated in the Wyoming Cross Country Invite on Saturday.

The male and female teams recorded fourth and fifth place finishes.

The top finisher on the men's side was
Tyler Captain finishing in 16th, running a time of 15:57.9.
Tristan Enders, a freshman running in his first career collegiate race finished just outside the top-20, finishing in a time of 16:11.0 to come in 21st. Zach. Hentschel,
Owen Wagner, and
Joran Lamoreaux also recorded top-40 finishes.

Clare Fischer was the top female Hardrocker. The sophomore finished in 19:47.8 to come in 24th place.
Allyson Heiden was the only other top-40 finisher, grabbing 34th.
Abbie Saline and
Alana Howard finished in the top-50.

Looking Ahead
The Hardrockers head to Black Hills State for a race in Sturgis next Saturday.
