2023-24 Schedule Released for Women's Basketball

RAPID CITY, S.D. --- The South Dakota Mines Women's basketball team officially released its schedule on Friday morning.
 
The Hardrockers look to make an impact in the RMAC this season but will have to conquer a schedule that includes four 2022-23 NCAA Tournament teams and a non-conference schedule that includes a neutral slate of two Lonestar Conference opponents and Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference teams.
 
The first four games for the Hardrockers included two weekends of neutral site play, taking on Texas Permian Basin and West Texas A&M in Grand Junction, Colorado on Nov. 10 and 11. The next weekend, South Dakota Mines heads right up the road to Spearfish for the East/West Challenge, where on Friday, November 17, they battle with Northern State, followed by Sioux Falls on the 18th. The month finishes with a non-conference matchup against Black Hills State in Spearfish.
 
Prior to the winter break, South Dakota Mines plays four of six December games on the road, beginning with UCCS and Regis on the first and second, before King Center matchups with Colorado School of Mines and MSU Denver. Wrapping up the pre-break schedule is a road trip to CSU Pueblo and New Mexico Highlands. Following the break, the Hardrockers have a final matchup at Minot State to ring in the New Year on Dec. 31.
 
A trio of home contests follows the break with Fort Lewis and Adams State visiting on January 5th and 6th. One game is set for the following weekend with Western Colorado visiting on January 12. The Hardrockers then head to Westminster and Colorado Mesa for the final road trip of January, facing off with the Mavericks on the 19th, before visiting the Griffins on the 20th. A pair of home games follow, with CSU Pueblo visiting on January 26th before the basketbrawl takes place in the King Center to close the month of January.
 
A mid-week trip to Chadron State is scheduled for the third of February. Following that, the Hardrockers have back-to-back road contests at MSU Denver and Colorado School of Mines on Feb. 9 & Feb. 10. Regis and UCCS home games follow that up on the 16th and 17th of February. The short month of February is closed with road matchups on the 23rd and 24th with Adams State and Fort Lewis.
 
The month of March finishes out the season with home contests against Chadron State and Colorado Christian on the first and second.
 
RMAC playoffs, if South Dakota Mines qualifies are scheduled for 3/5-3/9 with games to be held at host sites based on seeding.
