RAPID CITY, S.D. --- The South Dakota Mines Cross Country teams competed at home in Rapid City on Saturday at Hart Ranch.
The Hardrockers competed against Black Hills State, Chadron State, and Dawson Community College and had several individuals perform well.
The Men got an individual win from
Cole Tatro who ran the 8k in 26:32.28.
Jackson Parrill (3rd, 26:44.73),
Justin Quammen (7th, 27:03.89), and
Ty Brady (9th, 27:34.41) also finished in the top 10.
Tanner Reinert,
Hunter Prather,
Aidan Rivers,
Drew Ekstrum,
Everett Sandbo, and
Preston Drew also finished in the top 20, with
Maxwell Ivanov and
Jaden Nemeth taking 24th and 27
th.
Ryan O'Loughlin and
Timothy Wolfe ran unattached, finishing in 5th and 25th.
On the women's side,
Laine Mannes and
Madalyn McQuistan finished in the top 10, running times of 26:34.14 and 26:43.36 to take 7th and 8th.
Teagan Wright finished in 11th with a time of 27:24.74.
Narria Neubert finished the race in 30:23.56. Running unattached,
Kat Tvrdy finished 10th, finishing the race in 27:22.03.
