Tumbleson Hired as Tight Ends Coach

RAPID CITY, S.D. --- The South Dakota School of Mines Football program is excited to announce the addition of Tavian Tumbleson as their new Tight Ends Coach/Operations.

"I am extremely excited to announce Coach Tavian Tumbleson to our Hardrocker Family as the new tight end coach and operations here at South Dakota Mines, said Head Coach Charlie Flohr. This will be Tavian's first coaching position after graduating with a master's in Higher Education from the University of Sioux Falls in 2022.

Collegiately, Tumbleson played his last season at the University of Sioux Falls. Prior to that he played one season at Abilene Christian University and two seasons at Iowa Central Community College.

"I am excited about this opportunity with the South Dakota School of Mines & Technology," said Tumbleson. "I can't wait to see what we do through the rest of the season and into the future."
