COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – South Dakota Mines Football received six All-RMAC honorees, including
Will Lester and
AJ Kelly on the second team.
Will Lester had a record-breaking season as he totaled 103 tackles. That ranked second in the RMAC this season. Lester had 58 solo tackles and 45 assisted tackles. In his final year with the Hardrockers, Lester also added five tackles for loss and three passes defended. He ended his four-year career with 222 total tackles in 44 games played.
On the offensive line,
AJ Kelly has consistently been one of the best players in the RMAC in his career. The 6-8 redshirt-senior wrapped up his career with 39 total games played to earn Second Team All-RMAC honors. This past season, Kelly locked down the left side of the offensive line. He was named to the All-RMAC Second Team in 2023 and was awarded Preseason All-RMAC honors before the 2025 season.
Dawson Dunbar had a great season on offense for South Dakota Mines to earn Honorable Mention All-RMAC honors. . In total, he had 525 rushing yards and 207 receiving yards out of the backfield. He recorded five touchdowns, including one at Black Hills State. Dunbar recorded 167 scrimmage yards at New Mexico Highlands on Sept. 20.
Mason Galbreath wrapped up his career with a great 2025 season to win Honorable Mention All-RMAC. Galbreath recorded a career-best 49 receptions for 611 yard this season. Against Adams State on Senior Day, Galbreath caught nine receptions for 122 yards and threw a 41-yard touchdown. In his career, he totaled 1,528 yards and 11 touchdowns.
At linebacker,
Charlie Johnson finished up a great junior season to earn Honorable Mention All-RMAC. Johnson had 77 total tackles this season, including 37 solo tackles and 77 assisted tackles. He added an interception and one fumble recovery this season. At Colorado Mesa on Nov. 8, Johnson recorded 12 total tackles.
Lane Thomas rounded out the Hardrockers with Honorable Mention All-RMAC honors. Thomas led the RMAC this season with 13 passes defended. That mark ranked 24
th in NCAA Division II. At Black Hills State on Oct. 4, Thomas recorded two interceptions and six total tackles for the Hardrockers, guiding them to a 27-13 win.
"I am proud of these individuals that received all-conference honors for the 2025 season," head coach
Charlie Flohr said. "They put in a lot of work both on and off the field in order to receive these awards."

All-Region and CSC Academic All-America teams will be announced later this year.
