RAPID CITY, S.D. --- The South Dakota Mines soccer team played its' final non-conference game on Wednesday as they were on the road in Montana taking on MSU Billings.
MSU Billings was able to strike early, taking a 2-0 lead after goals in the 22nd and 34th minute. The score would stay that way going into the locker room.
Early in the third the Yellowjackets would add on with another goal. This time the Hardrockers would answer with one of their own as
Brady Cork scored for the second straight game. The assist came from
Hayden Jaramillo. MSU Billings would add another later in the half, and go on to win 4-1 sending South Dakota Mines home with its third straight loss and a 1-4-1 mark on the season.
Notes – Brady Cork scored for the second time in as many games and now is tied for the team lead…

The loss drops the Hardrockers record to 1-4-1. They will be in action again on the road for a pair of games this weekend as they open RMAC play against Colorado Christian and Adams State.
