RAPID CITY, S.D. --- The South Dakota Mines track and field teams competed at home on Friday and Saturday night at the Bauer Open as they welcomed four visiting teams to O'Harra Stadium and the South Dakota Mines campus.

The Hardrockers continued their string of good performances, winning 5 events, setting 2 new school records, recording 40 top-5 finishes, setting 13 personal records, and 6 Hardrocker top-10 marks

Macy McClure set a new school record in the Women's Hammer throw with a toss of 52.97m (173-09.5, PR, PQ, 2nd). The other school record was set by
Jeremiah Bridges in the long jump with a jump spanning 7.23m (23-08.75, PR, 1st)

The first-place finishes were recorded by
Alyssa Franke who took first in the Women's 10000m Run, running a time of 42:52.92,
Ethan Pitlick (400m Run, 50.38),
