2023 Outdoor (Sophomore):
- Threw hammer and discus at four meets.
- One top-5 finish (discus).
2022 Outdoor (Freshman):
- Competed in five meets.
- Threw in the discus and hammer.
- Recorded two top-10 finishes in the discus.
High School:
- Attended Wahkiakum High School.
- Two-Sport star as she was an All-Conference, All-State, and All-Area selection in basketball.
Personal:
- Daughter of Shawn and Tina Merz.
- Has one younger brother (Joseph).
- Is a two-sport athlete, also competing on the women’s basketball team at South Dakota Mines.
- Majoring in biology.
