Hardrockers Ready for Concordia Nebraska Twilight

RAPID CITY, S.D. – South Dakota Mines Track & Field is set for the Concordia Twilight in Nebraska this weekend.

Five Hardrockers are on the bubble of the NCAA Championships coming into the weekend. Augustus Fink's 59.46m hammer throw at the RMAC Championships ranks 29th in NCAA DII. Isaiah Thurman is 34th with his mark of 58.92m.

Merek Ranstrom's time of 52.09 in the 400h event won him the RMAC Championship and is 28th in NCAA DII. Logan Haynie is fifth in pole vault, while Isaac Haynie is 52nd in the 400h.

The Rockers will send student-athletes to both the Loper Twilight at the Concordia Twilight at Concordia Nebraska.

The last time the Hardrockers sent a student-athlete to the NCAA DII Outdoor Championships was last season, where Cole Dobberstein took 14th in the 400h event.

What's Next

Should any Hardrockers make it, the NCAA DII Championships is scheduled for May 21-23 in Emporia, Kansas.
