1. The Hardrockers are first in the nation (Division II) in passing yards per game with 367.4 yards per game and total passing yards with 1,837.
2. South Dakota Mines is fourth in the nation in passing touchdowns with 14.
3. The Hardrockers are having great success in the Redzone and making a lot of trips there. The offensive unit has 17 redzone scores (13 TD's) to come in 3rd in the RMAC and convert at 77.3% clip on 22 attempts (T-1st RNAC).
4. The defensive unit is strong as well, allowing 23 points per game (3rd RMAC) and are allowing opponents to convert third downs, just 32.9% of the time.
5. Time of possesion and penalties are two things that the team emphasizes and it is showing as they are second in the RMAC in time of possesion per game (32:12) and have been called for 22 penalties and and have incurred just 210 yards of penalites (42 yards per game) all leading the RMAC - also top-20 in NCAA Division II.
