COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. --- On Monday afternoon, the RMAC selected its All-Academic Women's Basketball team. The RMAC Academic All-Conference teams are voted on by the league's 15 sports information directors.
Ryan Weiss was named Academic Player of the Year.
Weiss has been a star on the court and off the court during her career at South Dakota Mines. Weiss has been a prominent piece of the Hardrockers' offense this season and currently ranks No. 14 on South Dakota Mines' all-time scoring list. The guard is a two-time RMAC All-Conference and is now a three-time RMAC All-Academic First Team honoree. She currently holds the Hardrockers' program record for made three-pointers and currently leads her squad averaging 13.1 points per game this season.
In addition to all of her on-court accolades she received her bachelor's degree in industrial engineering with a GPA of 3.85. She is now set to graduate with her master's degree in engineering management and has a 4.0 GPA in her master's courses.

Madelyn Heiser,
Bailey Johnson,
Melissa Johnstone,
Juneau Jones and
Kaydin Davis were all named to the RMAC Honor Roll.
Bodette is a pre-physical therapy major with a GPA of 3.741.
Heiser, a sophomore has worked to a GPA of 3.870 in pre-professional health sciences.
Johnson, a Rapid City native and industrial engineering major has a cumulative GPA of 3.713.
Johnstone has a 3.891 GPA in chemical engineering.
Jones, another native to Rapid City has recorded a 3.5 GPA in civil and environmental engineering.
Davis, a second year freshman carries a 3.571 GPA in pre-professional health sciences.
Qualification for these awards includes having a GPA of above 3.3 and must have been a student at the institution for at least one full year.
