'Rockers Take Momentum On The Road For Final RMAC Roadtrip

RAPID CITY, S.D. --- The South Dakota School of Mines women's basketball team remains one of the hottest teams in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, winning it's ninth-straight and 10 of its last 12 as the Hardrockers take their momentum on a final road trip of the season as the team heads to Colorado for RMAC rematches against University of Colorado Colorado Springs and Colorado School of Mines.

The Hardrockers are currently tied for fifth place in the RMAC standings with Black Hills State as both squads have identical 12-7 conference records. They are two games behind fourth place Westminster (14-5) and one game ahead of Dixie State and Fort Lewis College (11-8) both tied for seventh place currently.

Weiss is currently second in the RMAC and leads her team in scoring with 17 points per game and third in field goal percentage, shooting 46.2 percent.  Weiss is also first in three-point percentage at 48 percent making her the leader in the conference in three-pointers made per game with 84 for the season (a school record) which is (3.8 per game).
