JAMESTOWN, N.D. – South Dakota Mines drew 2-2 at Jamestown on Monday afternoon, moving to a 1-0-1 overall record after the first weekend.
Bennett Dykstra put a shot on net 37 seconds into the game but was saved.
Nickolas North scored his first goal of the season in the third minute.
Shon West picked up his second assist of the year.
After North was saved at the 8:02 mark,
Lucas Miranda recorded his third goal of the 2026 season 21 seconds later to make the score 2-0.
However, Jamestown put in two goals in the 11
th and 12
th minute to tie the game at 2-2. The Rockers would have five more shots in the rest of the half but could not convert.
The game ended at 2-2 after the Jimmies held the Hardrockers out of the net in the second half.
In total, South Dakota Mines had 18 shots and 12 shots on goal.
Even Henriksen totaled four shots and two shots on goal, while West, North, Miranda,
Xavier Gibson and
Parker Yocom all had two shots. Goalkeeper
Abdo Salem Abdullah collected one save, while Jamestown goalkeeper Valon Ismaili saved 10 Hardrocker shots.
The Rockers moved to 1-0-1 following the draw.

South Dakota Mines will take on Mount Marty in Pierre on Friday at 3 p.m. CT. They will return home on Sept. 10 to take on Rocky Mountain at 5 p.m.
