RAPID CITY, S.D. – South Dakota Mines Men's and Women's Track & Field are set for the RMAC Outdoor Championships in Pueblo, Colorado, this weekend.
The Hardrockers will head south to the RMAC Outdoor Championships from Apr. 24-26 in Pueblo, Colorado. After a great indoor season and competitive outdoor season, the Rockers will look to compete with the rest of the RMAC in Pueblo.
At the RMAC Indoor Championships, the Hardrocker men took seventh, while the women recorded 15
th.
Isaac Haynie won the 60h,
Everett Gilbert took first in the high jump and
Augustus Fink picked up first in the weight throw.
So far this season,
Augustus Fink and
Isaiah Thurman have both hit NCAA DII provisional marks in the hammer throw.
Merek Ranstrom has provisional marks in the 110h and 400h events.
Reese Terwilliger has highlighted in the shot put, discus and hammer for the Rockers this season.
The decathlon and heptathlon will start on Friday, followed by field and running events on both Saturday and Sunday.
What's Next
The Hardrockers will go to the Loper Twilight on May 8-9 before the NCAA Outdoor Championships from May 21-23 in Emporia, Kansas.
