RAPID CITY, S.D. – South Dakota Mines Track & Field concluded the 2026 outdoor season with the Bauer Open on Wednesday.
Isaiah Thurman highlighted the Hardrockers with an NCAA DII provisional mark in the hammer throw, picking up a career-best 58.92m mark.
Morgan Sandal won the javelin following his 55.80m throw.
Augustus Fink took second in the hammer, third in the shot put and fifth in the discus.
Everett Gilbert won the high jump with his 1.95m mark. The Hardrockers 4x100 relay of
Logan Haynie,
Noah Feldt,
Landon Ptacek and
Brock Peasley recorded first.
Isaac Haynie's season-best 53.84 in the 400h gave him first place.
Joran Lamoreaux ran a 15:05.21 to win the 5000m event.
Owen Johnson won the 1500m with his 4:01.81.
Noah Feldt put up a 21.88 in the 200m for first.
Adisyn Schenck threw a career-best 43.34m hammer throw to pick up fourth place. She also recorded fourth in the shot put.
Reese Terwilliger collected second in the shot put with her 13.10m throw.
In the 400h event,
Emma Moody's 1:07.43 put her in second place.
Emily Jones took second in the 800m following her 2:23.42 run.
What's Next
The RMAC Outdoor Championship is scheduled for Apr. 24-26 in Pueblo, Colorado. The Loper Twilight is from May 8-9 before the NCAA Championships on May 21-23.
