COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – South Dakota Mines Track & Field saw six total players win All-RMAC awards, the RMAC announced on Thursday.
Augustus Fink,
Everett Gilbert and
Isaac Haynie were all named to the All-RMAC First Team.
Fink highlighted the Hardrockers this season with an appearance in the NCAA Championships. He threw a career-best 20.34m weight throw at the SDSU Indoor Classic to qualify for the NCAA Championships. His 20.21m mark at the RMAC Championships gave him first place. He picked up ninth at the NCAA Championships and Second Team All-America honors.
Gilbert won the high jump at the RMAC Championships this season after picking up a 2.01m jump. He recorded a career-best 2.06m mark in the high jump at the Myrle Hansen Open.
I. Haynie won the RMAC Championships in the 60h event after running a career-best 8.11. He was named the RMAC Freshman of the Meet at the RMAC Championships this season.

Merek Ranstrom and
Cooper Stevens all earned Second Team All-RMAC honors.
L. Haynie picked up fourth place in the heptathlon at the RMAC Championships, scoring 4,701 points. He also recorded third place at the Mines Winter Classic earlier this season.
In the 60h event, Ranstrom collected fourth place at the RMAC Championships, clocking in at 8.21. He picked up another career-best in the 200m event in January.
Stevens threw a career-best 16.42m shot put in the RMAC Championships for fifth place. He won the shot put at the Myrle Hansen Open and threw a career-best 13.58m in the weight throw.
Dawson Gunn of Colorado School of Mines was named the Men's Track Athlete of the Year, while Chadron State's Chayton Bynes earned Field Athlete of the Year honors. On the women's side, New Mexico Highlands had both honorees in Patreece Clarke as the Track Athlete of the Year and Rojrika Campbell earned Field Athlete of the Year honors.

The 2026 outdoor season is underway for the Hardrockers. They will go to the Jack Christiansen Invitational on Mar. 27-28 at Colorado State.
