RAPID CITY, SD – South Dakota Mines Men's and Women's Golf is at the Travis Roy Memorial Invite this weekend in Sheridan, Wyoming.
Both the Men's and Women's programs will make the trip to Powder Horn Golf Club in Sheridan, Wyoming.
Last week, the women finished in ninth place at the Swan Memorial in Broomfield, Colorado.
Kenzie Schroeder broke the Hardrocker 36-hole record with her overall score of 145. Her 70 in the first round also broke the 18-hole women's record.
The Hardrockers will send out Schroeder,
Alison Kennedy,
Lora Ortega,
Addiley Lloyd and
Marin Keller. On the men's side, South Dakota Mines will send two teams.
Brycen Farris,
Ramey Lloyd,
Matai Naqica,
Tyler White and
Isaac Schmidt highlight the "A" team.
Alex Makarchuk,
Caeden Ekroth,
Carter Hillukka,
Owen Jorgenson and
Andrew Sinar are on the "B" side.
This event is a two day, 36-hole invitational. On Monday, the event will start at 10 a.m., followed by a 9 a.m. start on Tuesday. Live stats will be available through Golf Genius.
What's Next
Both teams will be back in action next week at The Homestake Invite at Spearfish Canyon Country Club in Spearfish, South Dakota. The men will play at the Marauder Invite on Sept. 29-30 before both teams play at the Yellowjacket Fall Invitational from Oct. 6-7.
