RAPID CITY, S.D. – The Hardrocker golf teams head to Nevada to compete at the RMAC Championships.
Just outside of Las Vegas, Boulder Creek Golf Course is the host course for the men's and women's championships, which run from Sunday, April 20, to Tuesday, April 22.
Both of the Hardrocker teams have continuously improved as a program in recent years and had strong spring seasons, but the RMAC Championships will be a great barometer of the program's progress as it continues its ascent in the region.
Kenzie Schroeder and
Kyra Allen have been standouts for the women this season. Both have captured top-10 finishes, and Schroeder has been especially strong over the past few weeks. The sophomore picked up her first collegiate victory at the Hardrocker Spring Invite and followed it up with a top-10 finish at the Augustana Spring Invite.
That pair,
Lora Ortega,
Addiley Lloyd, and
Marin Keller, make up the women's side for the Hardrockers.
On the men's side,
Tyler White, Alex Makrachuk,
Supawich Boonta,
Everette Carroll, and
Braydon Jones are scheduled for the team, with
Matai Naqica as an alternate.
The men's group has also seen strong performances, especially lately. Last weekend, they finished fourth at the Hardrocker Spring Invite, sixth at Augustana, and third at the Dickinson State Invite.
Live results for the tournament can be tracked on scoreboard –
men,
women.
