RAPID CITY, SD (June 18, 2025) – Five head coaches from South Dakota Mines will take the national stage next week as featured speakers at the 2025 National High School Athletic Coaches Association (NHSACA) Convention, hosted by the South Dakota High School Coaches Association. The event runs June 21–25 at the Best Western Ramkota in Rapid City.
Representing the Hardrockers are:
- Charlie Flohr, head football coach
- Teren Schuster, head soccer coach
- Joe Stephens, director of track & field and cross country
- Luke Wheeler, director of golf
- Michael Iseman, head men's basketball coach
Each coach will lead sessions covering key areas such as building winning programs, recruiting strategies, and creating a strong team culture. Their presentations will be part of a packed schedule designed to educate and inspire coaches from across the country.

Its mission is to support the professional growth of coaches while promoting excellence in athletics, sportsmanship, and healthy competition.
