Track & Field Continues Strong Start to Outdoor Season

KEARNEY, Neb. – The South Dakota Mines outdoor track and field team continued their outdoor season on Friday with a single day meet at the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
 
A smaller meet than last weekend's the Hardrockers continued to build on their strong start to their season with 13 top-10 finishes and nine Hardrocker top-10 marks. 

The top 10 finishers and Hardrocker top 10 marks are listed below. 
 
Men:
Eddie Johnson – 400m Dash (49.89, 4th)
Cole Tatro – 1500m Run (4:12.87, 10th)
Merek Ranstrom – 110m Hurdles (14.95, 10th), 400m Hurdles (55.86, 6th)
Cole Dobberstein – 400m Hurdles (53.32, 3rd, #2 Hardrocker Top-10)
Isaiah Thurman – Hammer Throw (54.78m/179'9", 6th, #4 Hardrocker Top-10)
Augustus Fink – Hammer Throw (52.50m/172'3", #6 Hardrocker Top-10)
