North Named to All-RMAC Second Team Following his Record-Breaking Season

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Nickolas North of South Dakota Mines Men's Soccer has been named to the All-RMAC Second Team after a historic 2025 season.

Nickolas North led South Dakota Mines and was second in the RMAC with 12 goals scored this season. That mark broke the season record at South Dakota Mines, formerly held by Justin Barkow's 10 goals in 2017.

In total, North recorded 12 goals, two assists for 26 points. He started in all 17 matches with 1,094 minutes played. North recorded three different two-goal matches this season, including matches against Colorado Christian and Adams State.

North recorded seven goals in RMAC contests this season, the third-most in the conference. He totaled 17 shots and eight shots on goal in RMAC matches.

He is the first South Dakota Mines player to be named to an All-RMAC team since George Martinez earned second team honors in 2021.

"I'm really happy for Nick," head coach Teren Schuster said. "He works really hard and was consistent for us all season long. He fully deserves this achievement. It's a great award not only for him but for our program."
