Connor Taylor Named RMAC Special Teams Player of the Week

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. – On Monday afternoon, the RMAC selected and announced its player of the week selections for football.

After a stellar start to the year and great game against New Mexico Highlands, kicker, Connor Taylor was selected as the conference's special teams player of the week.

Taylor connected on two field goals, four PATs and booted six of eight kickoffs for touchbacks, also punting twice for an average of 47 yards per punt while downing one inside the 20.

Currently, Taylor is seventh in the RMAC in scoring and is 11 points shy of tying the all-time school record by Jamie Dale of 222. Taylor is also five made field goals shy of tying the all-time record of 33 by Enis Sefa.

Taylor looks to continue his strong season and get closer to those records this weekend as the Hardrockers take on Fort Lewis on Saturday at 2:00 p.m.
