COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – On Thursday morning, the RMAC selected its all-conference team for women's golf.
The all-conference teams are made up via the golfstat regional rankings. The top eight individuals are selected to the first team, while the second eight are selected to the second team.
South Dakota Mines had two women's golfers perform well all season long, earning second team selections for the second consecutive year were
Annika Schooler and
Rianna Garland.
Schooler and Garland have had phenomenal careers in their four seasons with the program, resetting the programs' record book in the process.
Both seniors had great seasons, with Schooler tying for first place at the Hardrocker Fall Invite and recorded three other top-10 finishes, while Garland posted three top-10 finishes and one top-5 finish along with a tie for first at the Hardrocker Spring Invite.
Both played well at the RMAC Championships with Garland finishing in a tie for 9th and Schooler finishing in a tie for 12th. Overall, they shot 228 and 229 with Garlands' 228 setting a school record for low-54 holes and Schoolers' first round of 69 setting the low-18 record.
With these selections, the pair becomes just the fifth and sixth all-time RMAC All-Conference selections for the golf program.
