PUEBLO, Colo. – South Dakota Mines completed the 2026 Southern Colorado Open over the weekend.
In the first round,
Alison Kennedy led the Hardrockers with an 82.
Kenzie Schroeder shot an 84, while both
Addiley Lloyd and
Marin Keller picked up an 87.
Kennedy responded on day two with her best round of her career so far. She recorded a 77 with three total birdies in the round. Both Schroeder and Lloyd picked up a 79 and
Lora Ortega collected an 81.
Overall, the Hardrockers responded from their total score of 340 in round one with a 316 in the second round. They shot a 656 overall for 13
th place in the field.
Kennedy placed 43
rd overall in the field, Schroeder was 57
th, Lloyd recorded 65
th and Ortega rounded out the starting four with 71
st.
CSU Pueblo won the open, followed by UT Dallas and three teams tied for third place.
What's Next
The Rockers return to action on Apr. 6-7 at the Augustana Spring Invite in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. They will host the Texas Roadhouse Spring Invite on Apr. 13-14 at the Golf Club at Red Rock.
