RAPID CITY, S.D. – South Dakota Mines Women's Golf heads south to the Southern Colorado Open at Walking Stick Golf Club in Pueblo, Colorado.
At the Hillcat Classic from Mar. 9-10, the Hardrockers picked up fifth place out of seven teams.
Kenzie Schroeder highlighted for the Rockers with eighth place overall. She shot a 160, including a 78 in the first round. Schroeder has three top eight finishes this season.
The Hardrockers finished in 11
th place at the Southern Colorado Open last season. Schroeder picked up a top-15 finish in Pueblo a season ago.
South Dakota Mines will bring Schroeder,
Addiley Lloyd,
Alison Kennedy,
Lora Ortega,
Marin Keller and
Portia Lenczowski to Pueblo. They will face off with Adams State, Chadron State, Colorado Christian, Colorado Mesa, CSU Pueblo, Garden City CC, MSU Billings, MSU Denver, New Mexico JC, Saint Martin's, Seattle Pacific, Texas A&M International, UT Dallas and Western New Mexico.

The Rockers will head to Sioux Falls for the Augustana Spring Invite on Apr. 6-7. The Texas Roadhouse Spring Invite is scheduled for Apr. 13-14 at the Golf Club at Red Rock.
