COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference finalized and announced its all-conference selections for track
The top-six performers in each event earn all-conference honors, with the top three being named to the first team and 4-6 named to the second team. The lone exception are the relay events in which on the first and second-place finishers earn all-conference honors.
Six men earned all-conference honors, while
Jaycie Stubbs earned two honors on the female side.
The men's lone first team selection was Adian Thompson as he finished second in the decathlon with 6,445 points.
Thompson also earned a second team selection in the open discus, throwing 45.09m to finish in fourth.
Ian Cone and
Cooper Stevens finished in fourth and sixth in the shot put, while
Thomas Greisen and
Merek Ranstrom took fourth in the 800m and sixth in the 400 hurdles taking the final all-conference slots.
On the women's side,
Jaycie Stubbs won her fourth straight RMAC Championships in the javelin and took fifth in shot put earning first and second team selections for those events.
