Although the Hardrockers sent a small contingent to the Mule Relays at Central Missouri University, junior Allyson Heiden had a huge day as she won the women's 5,000-meter run in a school-record time of 17 minutes, 42.17 seconds, 11 seconds faster than the second-place finisher.

The Hardrockers had a big outing at the Al Cassell Classic, hosted by Jamestown University, with several places in the top eight, including two first-place finishes and four second-place finishes.
