RAPID CITY, S.D. – The women's golf team finished up its home tournament on Thursday afternoon on a calmer, but still chilly day.
The
Hardrockers improved significantly over their first round shooting a 319 as compared to a 336 on Wednesday.
The best performance individually for the Hardrockers came from
Rianna Garland who shot a 76 on the day to tie for first, before eventually taking second after two playoff holes with Jordan Grasis of Chadron State.
Addiley Lloyd (163, 3rd) and
Annika Schooler (164, T4) were also critical to the 'Rockers second place finish.
Kenzie Schroeder and
Mya Maxwell wrapped up the team, finishing in a tie for 10th and 13th with 174 and 176 over the two rounds.
Allison Kahler,
Julia Sabetti,
Kyra Allen and
Taylor Ullen played as individuals with Kahler and Sabetti shooting 174 to tie for 10th, while Allen shot 176 and Ullen wrapped up with a 202.
The women's team now has off until the RMAC Championships from April 21-23 while the men are in action on Monday and Tuesday, Apr. 15-16 at CSU Pueblo.
