Pueblo, Colo. – The women's golf team played in the Southern Colorado Open hosted by CSU Pueblo on Sunday, playing 36 holes in one day.
The first round was notable as the Hardrockers broke a pair of school records as they shot a low 18 of 301 and
Addiley Lloyd shot the first ever under par round for the women's program, shooting a -1, 71.
The team kept up their performance in the second 18, shooting a 317 to shatter the previous low-36 hole record by seven strokes with a combined 618.
In the tough,12-team field, South Dakota Mines finished in a tie for seventh with Colorado Mesa.
Annika Schooler and
Addiley Lloyd led the team, shooting 151 and 152 to finish in a tie for 19th and a tie for 21st.
Rianna Garland posted a consistent 78 and 80 in the two rounds to finish just outside of the top 30, while
Kenzie Schroeder finished just below her with an 80 and 79.
Mya Maxwell shot 78 and 88 as the fifth member of the team participants.
Individually,
Kyra Allen,
Allison Kahler and
Taylor Ullen finished shooting 164, 165 and 185.
