RAPID CITY, S.D. --- The South Dakota Mines women's golf team is scheduled to begin their season next week as they start play in Arizona.
Coming off a fall season in which they won a tournament and took a third-place finish in just four tournaments, the team looks to continue their forward momentum.
Monday and Tuesday are set to start their season as they take part in the SMSU Spring Invite, hosted by Southwest Minnesota State University.
The 8-team tournament will be two days with 18 holes being played each day. The Hardrockers will compete with Academy of the Art University, Alexandria Technical College, Colorado Mesa University, Missouri Western State University, Southwest Minnesota State, Rockhurst University and Western New Mexico University.
South Dakota Mines is bringing seven golfers for the tournament with two to play individually. In the first tournament, the team will be made up of
Annika Schooler,
Rianna Garland,
Mya Maxwell,
Kenzie Schroeder and
Allison Kahler with
Addiley Lloyd and
Kyra Allen set to play as individuals.
On Monday, tee time is set for 11:00 a.m. and will be scored through
golfstat.
